You ask, "Could my powers have been latent? I mean, I never tried to fly before. Cuts I've had before but they seem to heal like everyone else's." You grab a knife and cut yourself, and it heals almost instantly. You say, "I've never had that happen before."

She says, "It's possible that your powers were there but didn't develop until you needed them. That happens, but it doesn't happen often enough to consider it seriously, besides the fact that we have no way of analyzing you beforehand. We'll keep trying to come up with a reason, but we might never know."
